Chronic sinusitis involves sinus inflammation lasting 12 weeks or longer. Symptoms can include congestion, drainage, facial pressure, or a reduced sense of smell.
An ENT evaluation helps establish the diagnosis and guide treatment. Dr. Cristel will consider your symptoms and previous treatments when discussing options. For some patients, balloon sinuplasty may be an option; suitability depends on an individual evaluation.
